After having new kitchen units and worktops put in in June we had to loose the Kitchen table , something i was very sad to do as i love having a table to sit at and to eat around , but it was a choice more units and work space or table and the units won !
so i decided i wanted a drop leaf table that i could keep in the living room folded up and not to much in the way , after months of searching looking for the right one i found it on Gumtree
it was quite a distance but i thought it would be worth the drive it only took around 45 minutes so wasn't to bad . so i contacted the poster and arranged to go and collect it
and what a bargain i got it was delighted with the colour the size and shape and it was in really good condition as well . nothing a good scrub and clean couldn't put right anyway , it also has a door either end and two shelf's inside for keeping table clothes party platters etc so was an added bonus to get some more storage space
so here it is my bargain of the year my £10 yes £10 table im delighted with it , plus i love a good bargain so is a win win for me
I love Gumtree, there are some right bargains out there. I recently got a huge fridge freezer - water dispenser the works. It had been advertised as not working. I emailed and asked why, apparently it needed a new wire. After a good scrub and the OH replacing the wire in literally five minutes it was up and running and working fine!
